NCS Model LMP-2000 New Model!

The LMP-2000 is a state-of-the-art digital instrument specifically developed for carbon in-place testing per ANSI/ASME N510.

 

Like the earlier generation LMP-10, the LMP-2000 is housed in a field-rugged aluminum case, which contains an on-board carrier gas cylinder. Some of the many updated features include an external cylinder shut-off valve, floppy disk drive, LCD data display, numeric keypad, and a microprocessor controlling all internal functions. Computer data output includes a chromatogram, raw data, upstream and downstream tracer gas concentrations, instrument calibration data, system identification, and final results. The detailed report requires only an authorized signature for completion.

Using on-board instructions, only minimal training is required for plant personnel to perform an in-place leak test on a carbon adsorbed bank. A Quick Start Guide is included that will have you up and running in a matter of minutes.

The LMP-2000 is an easy test instrument to master. The LMP-2000 automatically identifies tracer gas desorption resulting from wet or degraded carbon and calculates the system leak rate from a best fit, non-linear plot to time zero. This feature takes the guess work out of testing when working with difficult systems that exhibit rapid tracer gas desorption.

FLOWRATE ACCESSORY PACKAGE

The optional flowrate accessory package for the LMP-2000 allows the user to perform duct and stack flowrate measurements using the methodology specified in ASTM E2029 "Standard Method for Volumetric and Mass Flow Rate Measurement using Tracer Gas Dilution". In this standard test method, tracer gas is injected into a duct or stack at a known rate and the resulting concentration in the duct measured.

Using the flowrate accessory package, the LMP-2000 will monitor the tracer gas injection rate, automatically sample for tracer gas concentration, and calculate a duct flowrate. In many cases duct or stack flowrate data can be obtained more quickly and more accurately using the LMP-2000 in conjunction with the flowrate accessory than with conventional hot wire or Pitot tube traverse methods.

ATI manufactures portable Laskin nozzle aerosol generators which produce a submicron polydispersed aerosol in concentrations from 10 to 100 micrograms per liter at air flows from 50 to 8,100cfm @ 20 psig. All three Laskin nozzle generators feature rugged stainles steel construction, large fill ports, individual nozzle control and a 3" standard sanitary fitting outlet. An optional adapter is available for introducing the aerosol into positive pressure systems. Whatever your testing needs, we have a generator that will work for your application.

TDA-5B produces a sub micron polydispersed aerosol in concentrations from 10 to 100 micrograms per liter at airflows from 1,500 to 65,000 cfm. The TDA-5B is recommended for certification applications where the required aerosol volume or concentration may vary widely from high to low (such as in large cleanroom plenums or individual filter units, where compressed air is not available, or portability necessary). An optional adapter is available for directing aerosol to an introduction point operating at less than ambient atmospheric pressure.

*For high volume output, more uniform particle size, and safety, the liquid is aerosolized, superheated to vapor then re-condensed by ambient air into a poly-dispersed aerosol. The propellant must be an inert gas since the liquid vapor temperature is above the liquid flashpoint.
